Trimbach Gewurztraminer Réserve
Wine🇫🇷 Alsace, France · Gewurztraminer
Perfumed with lychee and rose, with a dry spiced finish that recalls the East and its beautiful dangers.
The Pour
2
Joseph Drouhin Bourgogne Pinot Noir
Light red🇫🇷 Burgundy, France · Pinot Noir
Delicate and silky, with red berries and a quiet earthiness that deepens as it sits. Like Kitty in the cholera-stricken town, it grows more interesting the longer you stay with it.
The Mood
An unfaithful wife is dragged into a cholera-stricken Chinese town, where shame slowly gives way to unexpected grace. Elegant, ironic, and quietly devastating.
