Meinklang 'Graupert' Pinot Gris

The vines are never pruned, left to grow wild and shaggy, graupert, and the wine comes out copper-pink, grippy, and tasting of blood orange, rosehip, and forest floor. It feels like something left at the edge of a wood as an offering. Best on a damp autumn evening, windows open to the dark trees.
